Eventing consists of three equine disciplines - Dressage, Cross-Country and Show Jumping. The Irish National organisation for Eventing is Eventing Ireland.

There are 41 Registered Packs in Ireland. The IMFHA governs all matters connected to foxhunting including legislation, regulation, conservation, education, communications and finance.

Pony Club
This is a youth organisation for youngsters interested in ponies and riding. There are branches all over Ireland. The Irish National Organisation is The Irish Pony Club Society.

Leisure Rider
Of course not all people are driven by the need to compete. Equestrian Centres are dotted around the country cater for the needs of beginners to advanced. The Irish National Regulatory Body for Equestrian Centres is AIRE.
